Monarch Butterflies- Berns

The Muscatine County Conservation Board will host a program on Monarch Butterfly migration and tagging on Sept. 17.

Naturalist Michelle Berns will present on Monarchs and Monarch tagging. After learning about the tagging process, participants will head out to the prairie to catch and tag butterflies.

The program will be held at the Environmental Learning Center at Discovery Park on Sept. 17 at 2 p.m. There is no charge for the program. Participants should dress to walk through tall grass and bring a butterfly net if they have one.
