MUSCATINE — A pretrial will be held Oct. 13 in Muscatine County court for a juvenile accused of attempting to kill a man in Muscatine in March.
On March 5, Noah Hass, 16, of Fairfield, was accused of shooting a victim twice with a handgun, in the 300 block of Broadway Street, according to the criminal complaint. The victim was transported to the hospital for gunshot wounds.
The minor, Hass, is being tried as an adult, and as such, his name was released to the public.
According to the criminal complaint, the altercation happened during a drug deal. Hass also allegedly shot twice into the front seat of a vehicle owned by a different victim, who received injuries that were not treated.
He is charged with attempt to commit murder, robbery in the first degree and being a felon in possession of a firearm, according to court documents.
Hass has pleaded not guilty and will appear in court Oct. 13.
