No one was injured Wednesday in a reported shots fired incident, according to Muscatine Police Department.
Police from West Liberty and Muscatine County responded at about 6 p.m. to a report of shots fired on 6th Street. At the time, officers found no evidence.
But the officers did develop suspect information of a person that lived at the address suspected of causing the disturbance.
Officers made a traffic stop and arrested a West Liberty man operating his vehicle while intoxicated. According to the report, a handgun was found in the vehicle.
The following morning around 8 a.m., West Liberty police responded to another shots fired report on 6th Street. Shell casings were found, as were bullet holes on one house.
According to a news release issued by the department, the police will continue to investigate the incident.
