Starting Friday, a section of 33rd Street South in Muscatine will be closed for about 10 days, according to the city of Muscatine.

The section from Stewart Road to the railroad tracks will be closed until around Sept. 25, according to a press release.  The closure is part of the Kent-Stein to Deep Lakes Part trail project.

Also effective this week, East 5th Street, from Cedar to Sycamore streets, is closed for the West Hill Sewer project, according to the public works department.
