BLUE GRASS, Iowa - Rolland W. Moeller, 85, of Blue Grass, formerly of Wilton, passed away, Thursday, November 30, 2017, at Genesis East in Davenport.

Rollie was born in Cedar County on July 10, 1932, son of Herbert and Gertrude (Beer) Moeller.

Rollie graduated from Wilton High in 1950. He married Betty Jean Owens in November 1952, she preceded him in death in 1970. He married Patricia A. Berg on July 11, 1971, in Muscatine.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army, during the Korean Conflict.

Rollie was an Agricultural Engineer all of his life. He sold seed corn and worked at John Deere for many years.

He was a member of Risen Christ Lutheran Church in Davenport, a former member of Zion Lutheran Church in Wilton, where he held many offices and the "Buffalo Breakfast Club.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, from 3-6 p.m. at Bentley Funeral Home in Wilton.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at 11:30 a.m. at Risen Christ Lutheran Church in Davenport.

Private family interment will take place at the Oakdale Cemetery.

Rollie is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife of 46 years, Pat of Blue Grass, his children: Lynn (Gil) Linenberger of Blue Grass, Dave (Terry) Garvin of Oregon, Lori (Doug) Taylor of Muscatine, Pete (Debi) Hopp of Wilton, Jeff Moeller of Idaho and Jodean (Tommy) Gasper of Ohio, 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-granddaughters, and 1 brother and 1 sister.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Betty, his infant son Matthew, his daughter Cindy Lane and 2 sisters.

A memorial has been established in his memory.
