WEST BURLINGTON, Iowa — The Muscatine Community College baseball team kept the runs coming on Tuesday night.

The Cardinals scored in five of the nine innings at Southeastern Community College and it all added up to an 8-3 victory over the Blackhawks.

Phil Langlois, Jonathan Temenak and Christian Maldonado each drove in two runs for MCC (21-22), with the Cardinals never trailing to earn Hunter Peebler the pitching victory with four strikeouts and six hits scattered over 7 1/3 innings.

Maldonado had a solo home run in the fourth inning.

MCC will next be in action Thursday, when the Cardinals host a nonconference doubleheader against the Augustana College JV.
