Muscatine's Michael Canfield, West Liberty's Riley Anderson and Wapello's Bennett Moser, all now competing at Wartburg College, were named to the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's Spring All-Academic team released on Wednesday.
To qualify for the list, a student-athlete must compete on a varsity roster for one of the conference's six spring sports, be at least a sophomore in academic standing with one year of residence at the college and maintain at least a 3.5 grade point average.
Wartburg led all IIAC schools with 62 selections to the All-Academic list.
Canfield, in his senior year on the men's golf team, was fifth overall at the IIAC championships in April and won his third All-Conference honor in the process.
Moser finished his college career on the Knights' men's track and field team with a 12th place finish in the 10,000-meter run at the Division III outdoor championships last month and won the 1,500 at the Iowa Conference Championships.
Anderson, in his sophomore season on the men's track and field team, set new personal bests for his college career in the 100- and 200-meter dash events as well as the javelin throw.
