IOWA CITY, Iowa — Start times for the first two games of the 2013 University of Iowa football season were released Wednesday and both contests will be televised on Big Ten Network.

The Hawkeyes’ season opener against Northern Illinois on Aug. 31 is slated to begin at 2:30 p.m. Iowa’s game against Missouri State will follow their season opener on Sept. 7 and is set for 11 a.m.

Iowa owns an 8-0 all-time series lead against the Huskies, including an 18-17 victory at Soldier Field in Chicago last season. The meeting with Missouri State is the first between the schools.
