The Muscatine swimming team dominated Davenport West with a resounding 115-58 dual meet win Tuesday. The Muskies had first place medalists in seven of the 12 events, and had the top two swimmers in four of those events.

The Muskies dominated the 100-yard butterly, with Shelby Grady placing first, Ali Youngbauer placing second and Jillian placing third.

Renne Kerr won the 200-yard freestyle and 500-yard freestyle, and she was the second leg of the 400-yard freestyle relay team that took first place and the third leg of the 200-yard freestyle relay that also placed first.

Hope Reichert won the 200 individual medley relay and was the third leg of the first place 400-yard freestyle relay team.

Muscatine showed its depth in events like the 100-yard freestyle race, where they placed swimmers second, third, and fourth to offset Davenport West's first place finish.

LM falls in three: Louisa Muscatine fell in straight sets, 29-27, 25-13, 25-11, at Winfield-Mount Union Tuesday night. Cat Osborn led the Falcons with eight kills, and Mariah Pugh added five.
