West Liberty 54, Durant 48: The Comets (1-3 1-2 River Valley Conference) snapped a 32-game losing streak with an overtime victory at home over the Wildcats.
Three West Liberty starters scored in double figures, as Macy Akers poured in 16, Austyn Crees 14 and Isabel Morrison 10. Lauren Ralfs led Durant with 16 points, and Kamryn Meyer pitched in 10.
West Liberty's last win before Tuesday night was a 52-28 victory over Louisa-Muscatine on Jan. 21, 2016.
Durant (0-6 0-4 RVC) is still searching for its first win and has lost 12 straight dating back to last season.
The Wildcats will be back in action Friday at Tipton. The Comets will play again Friday as well at Iowa City Regina.
Wapello 59, Louisa-Muscatine 43: Wapello's Tiffany Parson's scored a game-high 17 points, Sammy Ewart added 13 and the Arrows (2-1, 2-1 SEISC) bounced back Tuesday night with a 16-point victory.
The win comes on the heels of a 48-40 loss last Tuesday at Winfield-Mount Union and has the Arrows above .500 heading into a home game against Pekin on Friday.
The Falcons, meanwhile, lost their second game in two nights. Mariah Pugh scored a team-high 16 points, and Kylee Sanders added 11. Louisa-Muscatine (1-3, 1-2 SEISC) will play again Friday at home against Highland.
Winfield-Mt. Union 36, Columbus 21: The offensive woes continued for the Wildcats (0-4, 0-3 SEISC) as they continue to search for their first win of the season.
Maki Mendenhall led Columbus with eight points Tuesday night, but no other player scored more than three.
The Wildcats will be back in action Friday at home against Iowa Mennonite School.
Durant 63, West Liberty 41: The Wildcats (4-0, 2-0 RVC) keep on rolling, picking up their fourth straight win Tuesday night.
The victory marks the first time in two years that Durant has started a season 4-0. The Wildcats won their first 10 games to start their 2015-16 campaign.
Durant will play again Friday at Tipton. West Liberty (0-2, 0-2 RVC) will look for its first win Friday at Iowa City Regina.
Wapello 61, Louisa-Muscatine 41: Four different Wapello players scored in double figures to help the Indians down the Falcons (2-2, 1-2 SEISC) Tuesday night.
Trenton Massner scored 15 points, Keaton Mitchell 14, Logan Belzer 11 and Gage Witte 10 to lead Wapello.
Zack Bieri and Brandon Burmeister each poured in eight points to lead Louisa-Muscatine in scoring.
Wapello will be back in action at home Friday against Pekin. Louisa-Muscatine also will play again Friday at home against Highland.
Winfield-Mount Union 42, Columbus 33: Tommy Pretz's 16 points weren't enough to lead the Wildcats (0-4, 0-3 SEISC) to their first win of the season.
Abel Mena added five points and Eric Valdez scored four for Columbus.
The Wildcats will play again Friday against Iowa Mennonite School.
