Louisa-Muscatine 72, Mediapolis 71: The Falcons (7-6& scored a season-high 72 points on their way to a tight victory over the Bulldogs (12-1) on Tuesday. Kylee Sanders scored a team-high 21 points and four steals, while Hailey Sanders score 19 points and Mariah Pugh added a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Louisa-Muscatine
Wapello 45, Winfield-Mount Union 29: Tiffany Parsons recorded 12 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and six steals to lead the Arrows to a home win. Eryka Dickey had a near double-double, scoring 10 points to go along with nine rebounds. Wapello (8-4) led by just six entering the fourth quarter after being outscored by three in the third, but a 14-5 quarter gave the Arrows the win going away.
Highland 39, Columbus 31: The Wildcats dropped their second straight game with a road loss on Tuesday night. Senior Courtney Zaehringer led Columbus with nine points and Angie Byas added six. The Wildcats (2-10) were within single digits the entire game but were unable to overcome a two-point third quarter.
Wapello 72, Winfield-Mount Union 32: The Indians continued their trend of blowout wins with a dominating 40-point win at home Tuesday night. Keaton Mitchell led Wapello (10-1) with 18 points, while Trenton Massner scored 17 and Logan Belzer added 11. Wapello will face one of its toughest games so far this season when it plays host to Iowa Mennonite School on Friday.
West Branch 78, Wilton 36: The Beavers fell to 1-12 with a 42-point loss on Tuesday. Jared Townsend led Wilton with 11 points, while Ashton Stoelk scored nine and Cole Rabedeaux added seven points. Wilton will play host to rival Durant on Friday.
Mediapolis 50, Louisa-Muscatine 39: Brady Walker scored a team-high 15 points for the Falcons but it wasn't enough to overcome the Bulldogs' two double-digit scorers. Nobody besides Walker reached double figures for Louisa-Muscatine (4-7), and Brandon Burmeister was the second leading scorer with seven points.
