Adjunct Instructor Opportunities Eastern Iowa Community Colleges are seeking qualified instructors for the following positions. Adjunct teaching may include teaching in a traditional classroom, in an online format, using streaming technology, or in a flex-class combining two or more formats. Contemporary World Issues: Muscatine Campus Minimum qualifications: MTaster’s degree in Global or International Studies or any master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in a combination of the qualifying fields of Global Studies, International Studies, Anthropology, Cultural Studies, and/or World History. Twelve of the graduate hours must be in Global and/or International Studies. (Mon & Wed 1:30 -3:00 p.m.) and (Wed. 6:00 – 9:15p.m.). Astronomy: Scott (Belmont) Campus Minimum qualifications: Master’s degree in Physical Science or Master’s with at least 18 GSH in a combination of Natural Science, Science Education, Astronomy, Meteorology, Physics, Life Science. (Mon. & Wed. 5:00 -7:40 p.m.) Music Appreciation: Class will be taught at Davenport North High School Minimum qualifications: Master’s degree in Music or Master’s with at least 18 GSH in a combination of Music, Fine Arts, Music education, Music Performance, Cultural Studies. Classes will be taught M, T, W, R, F 10:00 -3:27 p.m. Art Appreciation: Class will be taught at Davenport North High School Minimum qualifications: Master’s degree in Art or Art History or Master’s with at least 18GSH in a combination of Digital Media, Fine Arts, Graphic Arts/Design, Humanities, Illustration, and/or Visual Communications.
