Summer and Fall 2021 - Career Opportunities for Online Adjunct Instructors
Eastern Iowa Community Colleges are seeking qualified instructors for the following positions. Adjunct teaching
may include teaching in a traditional classroom, in an online format, using streaming technology, or in a flex-class
combining two or more formats.
Online Instruction:
Humanities – Minimum qualifications: Master’s degree in Humanities or any Master’s degree with 18 graduate
hours in Humanities, Classics, Humanities and Fine Arts.
Physics – Minimum qualifications: Master’s degree in Humanities or any Master’s degree with 18 graduate
hours in Physics or Engineering.
Anthropology – Minimum qualifications: Master’s degree in Anthropology or any Master’s degree with 18
graduate hours. Cultural Anthropology, Physical Anthropology.
Biology – Minimum qualifications: Master’s degree in Biology or any Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours
in Biology related fields.
Geography – Minimum qualifications: Master’s degree in Geography.
History – Minimum qualifications: Master’s degree in History.
