SCC – Associate Dean of Students

Under the direction of the SCC Dean of Students, this position will be responsible for:
Coordinates, supervises and evaluates the SCC Academic Advisors, testing center, career
center and the support staff in the Student Services area. Leads student advising, enrollment
and orientation processes for the college. District-wide responsibilities for coordinating various
departments, including district trainings and professional development.
Qualifications will include:
• Master’s degree required.
• Demonstrated ability to work with and supervise a diverse campus polulation.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule.
• College enrollment, advising and supervisory experience required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work with a diverse population students and co-workers.
• Computer literacy essential.
