Immediate Adjunct Instructor Opportunities Eastern Iowa Community Colleges are seeking qualified instructors for the following positions. Adjunct teaching may include teaching in a traditional classroom, in an online format, using streaming technology, or in a flex-class combining two or more formats. Muscatine Community College – Spring 2020 – Introduction to Sociology - Minimum qualifications: Master’s degree in Sociology or Master’s degree with at least 18 GSH in a combination of Sociology, Anthropology, Cultural Studies, Criminology, Gerontology, Public Policy, and/or Social Work. Twelve of the eighteen graduate hours must be in Sociology, Anthropology, and/or Cultural Studies. Spring 2020 – Juvenile Delinquency - Minimum qualifications: Master’s degree in Criminal Justice or any master’s degree with 12 graduate hours in Criminal Justice of Law (JD) and additional 6 graduate hours in a combination of Criminal Justice, Law (JD), Psychology, Social Work, and/or Sociology. Spring 2020 – Introduction to Criminal Justice - Minimum qualifications: Master’s degree in Criminal Justice or any master’s degree with 12 graduate hours in Criminal Justice of Law (JD) and additional 6 graduate hours in a combination of Criminal Justice, Law (JD), Psychology, Social Work, and/or Sociology. Summer 2020 American National Government - Minimum qualifications: Master’s degree in Political Science or Master’s degree with at least 18 GSH in a combination of Public Administration, History, Law, Public Policy, Sociology or Social Science.
