WAPELLO — Tracy Riley Mosteller, age 78, of Wapello died March 5, 2019, at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington. The son of Harry J. and Myrtle Hester Mosteller, he was born on October 14, 1940, in Canton, Ohio. Tracy married Constance Lee Wellington on February 27, 1965, in Aledo, Illinois. She preceded him in death in August of 1982.
Tracy served in the U.S. Air Force from 1958 to 1964. He worked at GPC in Muscatine for 32 years in Electrical and Instrumentation. Tracy enjoyed golf, bowling, playing his guitar and singing to entertain others. He also simply enjoyed humor with others.
His family includes a daughter, Tracy and Stacy Koenig, of Muscatine; a son, Brian and Dawn Mosteller, of Muscatine; five grandchildren, Brandy Moedano, Nichole Wheeler, Joshua Koenig, Bryan Lathrop, and Alex Mosteller; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Harry and Betty Mosteller, of Attala, Alabama; and a sister, Ethel and Ralph Vaughn, of Rainbow City, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Constance.
Cremation will be fulfilled with a funeral ceremony to be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home in Wapello. Pastor Linda Morris will officiate. A lunch will follow at the United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.
