The Muscatine County Conservation Board will be taking 29-foot canoes out to Deep Lakes Park. The canoes hold between 10 and 14 paddlers and take teamwork to paddle.
Life jackets for paddlers 30 pounds and over will be provided. Paddlers under 30 pounds will have to bring their own.
The canoes will be at Deep Lakes Park from July 18 to July 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. each evening. There is no charge to paddle. To make a group reservation, call Dave Bakke at 563-264-5922. Otherwise, the canoes are available first-come, first-served.
For more information, the Conservation Board can be reached at 563-264-5922.
