Eagles and Ivories

Muscatine also celebrates the annual return of the bald eagles.

This year is the 25th anniversary of Eagles and Ivories, four days of eagle watching and ragtime, jazz and classical music concerts.

This year's event will be Jan. 24-27. It features world-renowned pianists and musicians, eagle watching along the Mississippi and presentations by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers park rangers.

Concerts are held at Wesley United Methodist Church, Pearl City Station, Muscatine Art Center, Sunnybrok of Muscatine and The Merrill Hotel and Conference Center.
