Put on by the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, spotting scopes were pointed towards the river for people to try to get a glimpse of the American symbol. Raptors from the Wildlife Prairie Park, near Peoria, Illinois, were on hand with live owls, a vulture, hawk and eagle.
