
A drawing by Liam Sheppeard of Muscatine was selected as the winning entry in the RAGBRAI Muscatine Kids’ Art Contest. His drawing will now be entered in the statewide RAGBRAI Art Contest.
MUSCATINE, Iowa — Liam Sheppeard, who just completed second grade at Mulberry Elementary School, has won the RAGBRAI Muscatine Kids’ Art Contest. Liam is the son of Lori Sheppeard. For his winning drawing, Liam will be awarded $20 Chamber Dollars to be spent at participating businesses in Muscatine. His artwork will also be considered in the statewide RAGBRAI Art Contest that has a grand prize of $350.
First runner up was 6-year-old Eleanor Weyenberg. She’s in first grade at St. Paul Lutheran and is the daughter of Erin Weyenberg and granddaughter of Scott and Nancy Natvig. Eleanor will be awarded $15 Chamber Dollars.
