North Dakota State sophomore outfielder Katie Shoultz was named first-team All-Summit League softball on Tuesday night, one of 10 Bison players named first- or second-team all-league.
The 2014 Muscatine graduate is third on the team with a .338 average this season for the Bison (35-15, 17-0 Summit), second in runs scored (43) and stolen bases (26) and third in hits (51). Shoultz has also yet to make an error this season in the outfield.
Shoultz and NDSU are hosting the Summit tournament this week, and they are looking to earn its seventh NCAA regionals berth in eight years. They'll open tournament play against the winner of South Dakota/South Dakota State on Thursday.
