Cascade 73, Wilton 10: The Beavers were overwhelmed Friday night in a home loss to the Cougars. Wilton only managed 26 field goal attempts in the game and made just three of them, as Isaac Hunter scored six points and Jared Townsend scored four. The Beavers had 27 turnovers on the night.

Bellevue 72, West Liberty 45: West Liberty was over matched in a loss to Bellevue to open its season. West Liberty will look to rebound in its second game at home against Durant.

Durant 45, Cascade 33: Durant coach Matt Straube said his Wildcats lacked flow but were still able to come away with a 12-point win to improve to 2-0 on the season. Ty Chenault led Durant with 13 points while Easton Compton added nine and Mason Compton added six.

Lone Tree 66, Louisa-Muscatine 47: Zach Bieri led the Falcons with 18 points and brady Walker chipped in 14 for the Falcons  in the road loss.


Bellevue 69, West Liberty 34: West Liberty dropped its third consecutive game by double-digits to begin the season, but will look to bounce back at home Tuesday against Durant.

West Dubuque 49, Wilton 31: The Beavers dropped their first game of the season with a double-digit home loss Friday night. Kortney Drake and Aubrey Putman each reached double-digit scoring with 13 and 10 points, respectively.

North Cedar 72, Durant 33: North Ceddar started fast by jumping out to an 18-7 lead in the opening quarter and never looked back on Friday night. The Wildcats have lost all three of their games by double-digits to start the season.
