The former Muscatine girls' basketball standout was one of three members of this year's IGHSAU Basketball Hall of Fame inductees. Jenny Noll will join Pocahontas' EaVon Almquist-Woodin and former Aplington-Parkersburg standout Chelsea Poppens as the group inducted during halftime of the Class 2A championship game on Saturday, March 2 at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.
Noll was a member of Muscatine's 1989 state championship team as a freshman. She posted a 14-point, 13-rebound double-double to lead Muscatine to a 52-45 win over Durant in the state title game.
The next season, she set a state tournament record by blocking 12 shots in a win over Fairfield.
She scored 1,272 career points in her career at Muscatine, making her the program's all-time leading scorer. She went on to play basketball at the University of Iowa from 1993-97.
