Lange

Wilton senior Emily Lange holds her follow through on a 3-point attempt earlier this season against Louisa-Muscatine.

Emily Lange finished the season as the leading scorer in Class 2A among girls who played more than 10 games.

The Wilton senior topped 30 points six times this season, including a season-high 38 points against Durant in December. Her scoring prowess didn't go unnoticed, as the Wilton girls basketball standout was voted third team all-state in Class 2A by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association Tuesday.

Lange led Wilton to a 21-3 record as the program set a school record for wins this season. The Davenport University commit scored 22.6 points per game, adding 6.3 rebounds per contest on 43.5 percent shooting and 34.5 from 3-point range.

Three players from the Mississippi Athletic Conference were voted onto the all-state teams. In Class 4A, North Scott's Grace Boffeli was voted to the first team. The state champion Lancers also had Presley Case on the second team. Their coach, TJ Case, was named coach of the year.

Pleasant Valley's Carli Spelhaug was voted to the third team in Class 5A.
